The maintenance agreement includes annual visits to the property, starting with an initial visit at your earliest convenience to inspect a number of components. This will include checking and testing all electrical connections inside the property relating to the solar panel system, including the generation meter, fuseboard supply, AC isolator, string connections from the inverter, the inverter itself, the battery’s AC controller, and the battery cells.

We will also check all plugs on the roof connecting the DC cables to the panels to identify aged or damaged plugs, test the panels for voltage issues, inspect each panel for signs of water ingress, and test strings for insulation resistance (which may be caused by water damage).

If, upon inspection, either the internal or external installation is found to be below standard, we will aim to carry out the necessary work onsite during the same visit. If specific parts need to be ordered, or the required work exceeds the time available on the day, we will arrange a follow-up visit to complete the job.

In the case that the inverter is found to be unrepairable, we will pursue a replacement under warranty on your behalf from the manufacturer and organise a return visit to install the replacement. If the inverter is out of warranty or cannot be replaced by the manufacturer, we will supply and install a new inverter at no additional charge, including both parts and labour.

The initial visit also includes cleaning of all solar panels and the removal of any lichen or moss buildup.

Any and all works undertaken under this maintenance agreement will not be chargeable to you and are fully covered under the original agreement amount.
